American Disability Association (ADA) Regulations

At DL Quality Services, we have made a name for ourselves by being the best at adhering to the strict regulations of the ADA. Our experience and attention to detail make us your best choice for every ADA or any drainage /concrete project.  

  • Sidewalks cannot have a cross slope of more than 2%

  • Ramps cannot have a running slope steeper than 8%; 

  • Clear width between the handrails of a ramp run must be at least 36"

  • Ramps are limited to a rise of 30"and must have a landing length of at least 60"

  • If a ramp changes direction there must be a 60"x60" landing

  • Curb ramps required for newly built and altered streets, roads, & intersections or anywhere there are curbs or barriers

  • Curb ramp steepness no greater than 8.33% slope a width of 36", and adjacent counter slopes no steeper than 2%

  • Flares cannot be steeper than 2%
